You will be allocated a Personal Tutor who is a member of the academic staff in your academic school. You are expected to see your tutor at least three times a year to discuss academic issues relating to your progress. However, the more you keep in touch with your tutor, the more they will be able to advise and assist you. 听You will meet your Personal Tutor during Welcome Week -听find out when here.

If you need help or advice from now till you complete your studies here, staff can provide professional, impartial and confidential advice. It includes a wide range of general areas as well as specific enquiries on more individual issues money matters, counselling, student health, disability matters, private-sector accommodation, careers, part-time employment, and information on the University鈥檚 Chaplaincy Team .

The University has a welfare support team of Senior Wardens and Residential Mentors within the Halls of Residence. You can seek advice and support from any member of the team about any concern you might have.
